How to get your measurements
The best way is to measure a t-shirt or polo shirt you have at home that fits you well:
1) Lay it flat and measure armpit to armpit
2) Simply multiply that measurement by two to get your chest size
Example: If your T-Shirt measures 27inches (69cm) armpit to armpit: 27inches x 2 = 54inches (or 138cm)
This would mean you wear a 54inch chest. You can then refer to the size charts for each brand linked below, find your measurement and see your recommended size.
TIP: Be sure to measure a like for like item. For example, if you’re looking for a new Jacket, measure a Jacket that fits you well, not a T-Shirt.

A bit of background on brands and sizes
In our journey to discover the best brands and styles for our customers we have a wide range of different brands and fits. As part of this diverse range of brands we carry, many are designed and created in different locations around the globe.
Given each of our brands come in different fits and sizes, our size charts outline the measurements for each brand and style and the corresponding size for each unique measurement.
As always, if you ever have a question or need help, we’re here. Simply send us a message using our Live Chat in the bottom right of the screen, or email us at hello@fortmens.co.nz
Please note: Some products do not have Size Charts, they are usually Jeans, Chinos or Shorts. This is because their measures are baked into their sizes. For example, a Jean would come in a 46inch waist, rather than a 4XL.
